In the world of Spira, a world surrounded by water, an ancient evil known as Sin emerges. It infects the world, bringing about natural phenomena and disasters to wherever it goes.
Eons ago, people sought to destroy Sin and it was subdued, bringing about peace to the world.
Temporary respite that is.
Sin is indestructible. Or is it really?
