Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride

DS remake; A king's search for his abducted wife and a legendary hero with his young son ends in tragedy. The son becomes a formidable warrior and shows a talent for taming monsters but is again attacked by evil soon after marrying and having children. Those children in turn grow up and reunited with their father look to find their mother and grandmother.
